Our holiday home is located on the Island of Schalkwijk with the best-preserved part of the Dutch Waterline.

Our holiday home is situated on a quiet green country road. You have a clear view of Fort Honswijk, the fruit trees and the meadows with cattle. In addition, you have a fenced private garden, adjacent to a meadow with tall fruit trees of the owner. The Onderhuys has a spacious veranda (approx. 20 m2) with a wood-burning stove and its own Wellness
In the sauna you have a clear view of the polder landscape, the forts and the fruit trees.
The Bovenhuys has a French balcony and a private storage room for 2 bicycles.
Each holiday home has 2 private parking places.
Take long walks on the adjacent clog paths. You pass the 'Drowned Forest', eat cherries in the cozy Cherry Garden or eat and drink something at Pand Pannekoek, Jonkheer de Ram, fort WKU or at Haje.
Take a bike ride (our municipality has already been selected twice as cycling city) or rent a whisperboat and enjoy nature on and around the Dutch Waterline.
But you can exchange that peace and quiet for the bustling city of Utrecht, which is a stone's throw away.
